from what i've seen, there's a ghoul. he looks badass but i wish he looked more like the old fallout ghouls. where's the crust???

i LOVE lucy. she's soo cute and im rly excited to see her character development bc obvi that kind of niceness isn't gonna last in the mojave wasteland. like girl. someone's gonna shoot you.

my hb has already seen the entire thing and he said that new vegas shows up near the end?? but like this show takes place 20 or so years after FNV so i'm super curious to see how things are going over there. is the courier partnered w mr house?? does the courier run the show w yes man?? obvi the NCR didn't take control bc from what i've seen they're kaput but it wld b interesting to see how nv is going. also i wld really wanna see the strip in live action!! it would be cool!! ALSO THE KINGS??? like can u imagine seeing 200 men in shitty old elvis costumes w pompadours... t'would be funny i think.

also it would be cool to see their take on the courier. the courier goes through insane shit and at full potential, could no diff frank horrigan WHICH IS SERIOUSLY FUCKING SAYING SOMETHING CONSIDERING THAT FH WAS ONLY BEATABLE IN FO2 BECAUSE THE GAME HAD TO BE WINNABLE. so, it would be neat to see who they choose to play the courier and how the studio would configure the courier's personality. especially if they make the DLCs canon. that would mean that the courier has been lobotomized not once, but TWICE! also stealth suit courier/???? fuck yeah. my courier had the stealth suit and an NCR ranger helmet and that shit ATE. ok my tummy hurts so im gonna wrap it up but like if anyone else likes fallout im happy to yap abt it

ive been superrr offline lately I KNOWWW but that's j bc i've been super busy!!!!! sibling came home from college for a bit and school has been a wee nightmare.... next week i have off tho!! currently working on a research project for one of my classes, too, which is cool :) it is on biomimetics and engineering applications if anyone is interested in that sorta thing. i've also been getting back into painting which is rly nice, i might post the thing im working on once it's done :D

i also watched jaws (1976) for the first time last night and oh my god!!! the differences between the movie and books are staggering. it was also really horrid to the shark :( very saddening movie tbh

i've been thinking a lot about a theoretical gulf of mexico coelacanth too... current "evidence" amounts to one spanish goblet that hasnt been found, a few sightings in the mid-20th century, and 2 sculptures that are from an uncertain date. i think it'd be really cool if migratory patterns of that fish were to land it in the gulf of mexico, though. however, when thinking about it, it doesn't seem plausible. now, if there were coelacanths found in, say, japan, then i would believe that, because the current 2 separate populations are in southern africa and indonesia. therefore, a northern or southern coelacanth would be possible, especially considering theoretical migratory patterns over the past ~60 million years. i find it really interesting!

ok so i AMMM sick af rn. like bedbound sniffling coughing sneezing staring pitifully into the distance etc. BUT i did get silent hill 2 (window edition) and i'm going thru that. i also have been getting closer w my homeboy and his group and they're pretty cool. ALSO i've been hanging out with my girls more. sometimes all you need is a sleepover with 7 other teenage girls where y'all do nothing but talk about random ass things, watch bollywood movies, and do a spell one of the group members found on tiktok. we're party rocking.

i also donated blood today! it was fine at first, i'm not really afraid of anything that i know won't permanently damage me, because really, if there isn't a possibility of dying, why be afraid? but when my blood bag was like 95% full i got really lightheaded and nauseated. i didn't vomit but i did feel like shit for a good 2-3 hours. alsooo when i got home the injection/IV site was all fucked up??? i checked with my dad and grandmother (both have done their fair share of IV insertions) and they both agreed that whoever put the needle in fucked up majorly. it doesn't look like there's too much damage or nothing, but it does look fuccccckkkked up. like "why is there so much bruising, there shouldn't be damage there, is your vein wall ok?" type shit. i'll be fine, i've had worse, but it's inconvenient. it was kinda cool to see so much of my own blood, though. really didn't think i had that much in me.

anyways i hope all of u are having a great time of life rn <3 shit happens and life sucks but a life without struggle wouldn't be living, and your hardships are your own. love is omnipresent and everlasting, nothing will change that. yippee!

ok so I KNOWW it's been a month since my last login. things have gone wayyyy downhill (really bad breakup from my now-ex-boyfriend of a WHILE, family member died, multiple upheavals in my really tight-knit friend group, etc) but i am balling for the time being. thugging it out, if you will. currently struggling through my junior year of high school (second to last year of required schooling in the US) although my grades are good and i'm thinking about a change in career path.

my goal used to be to get some computer science job that let me work from home, but with the breakup and things just being insane rn i've been reconsidering. maybe i might get a job on a fishing boat in alaska? i'd be working 6-9 months out of the year, and the pay seems okay. i guess i just feel like the spark has been sucked out of me and nothing seems worth it anymore, and a simple life on a trawler seems nice. i'm not exactly super frail or anything, so i think i could do it if i worked out for the next 2ish years. i also live next to the ocean and my father is an ex-boat captain so i could get experience through him. idk, seems neat.

on the other side of things, i got into a national physics program! i'll be going to lectures for the next 12 weeks and doing some work with fermilab. it's pretty cool. that's more or less keeping me going at this point.

also tonight i’m going to the first (american) football game of the year!!! super excited, my dear bf is on the team (lineman) and i’m going with my friend :D

i probably won’t stay super long bc tbh football is boring af most of the time and it’s my friends first time going… but i’ll still show up anyways

i also went to california (us)!!! it was super fun n i went to see the isopod exhibit at the monterey bay aquarium, it was literally amazing :))))
