Remember Discord's CDN?

You could use it as an image host if you wanted to. Now you can't.

Sadly, I hadn't done anything to warn users here to move their images off the platform. It's too late for that now.

If you try to embed an image on a blog post/group thread/comment now, you'll get this warning:

The solution is pretty simple as of now. Just use imgur. It works pretty well.

And also:

We downloaded every Discord CDN image used here.

All images that used the Discord CDN here are now backed up on our server, making every image that used Discord's CDN viewable again.

Except for some, which have been deleted off of Discord's CDN.
