ive been reading the hunger games recently because ive had a load of free time & ive been really enjoying it!!! im on the second book atm and im having a good time i forgot how good books are dude. like before this i hadnt actually read a full book for like a year but i finished the first book in like 3 days it was awesome !!!!! im a bit worried that i went too fast bc i thought the 4 books were all in order but apparenly the newest book's a prequel so whatever cliff hanger therell be wont be answered yet. still, im enjoying it a whole bucket load & im glad ive been reading it!! feels like im actually doing something even though really its just fun im havivng a good time !! yes

ive been getting properly into LISTENING to vinyl recently!! moved my record player into my room so now i can listen to it while doing stuff... very nice indeed :)

it was my birthday on thursday!!! 15 now which sounds properly old... kinda scary
this is actually my second birthday on myspace but i didn't wanna give internet people my birthday last year because i had only been on the site a couple weeks

i didn't do much because we're in the middle of moving house rn, we don't get internet for like a week so i have to use data n public wifi for stuff which sucks... hence the fact i haven't been online as much recently

i got a new laptop though!!! i haven't sorted it out completely yet and it runs windows 11 so i need to debloat it but it's a decent laptop so i'm very glad to have it
unfortunately my desktop broke yesterday... took it out of the box and when i put the power cable in sparks came off and it wouldn't turn on :(
it's not to do with moving house because the cable had always been dodgy but it's a proper shame - hoping to get it repaired but i think it'll need a new psu at the minimum and if i can't get the data off it's probably not worth it

they use like 2 bytes and they play your funny music, and for actual useful stuff you can open midis in like every music program ever so if theres a song i wanna learn how to play i can just download a midi of it

can't believe it's been a year already! while there's a couple things i miss from the early days (having a flash box on your profile being the biggest one) it's been great seeing the community grow, and i'm glad to have been part of it for nearly it's whole life
can't wait to see where the site goes next, and maybe this time next year we'll be at 2000 members!

i went to see level 42 in sheffield and it was absolutely amazing!!!!! :D
didn't take many photos because i wanted to just enjoy the moment, and i think it was worth it (my mum took some photos though so i'll put them up in a bit)
normally i'm not a fan of world machine but hearing it live just put so much energy into it, and i liked it way more than the recording from the album!
had to leave early because of school n all but we heard all the good bits, and it was great fun
i was definately the youngest one there, but that's not a huge suprise considering they haven't written any new stuff since the 90s (which is a shame)
they had some local people there playing the brass instruments & guitar, and they didn't waffle on too much between songs like concerts tend to do!!
the christians were supporting them, and while they were okay they were definately not as great as level 42!!

there's been like 20 new people or something in the past 2 days, which is crazy considering they actually used the site for more than 20 seconds!!! these are my words of "wisdom" having spent way too much time here in my nearly 10 months of being here

• you can steal css from people either in inspect element or by putting https://myspace.f46n.org/?getCSS=(id of the profile you wanna steal from)
• use Alt+Z to turn off someone's theme (useful for profiles with headache-enducing css (e.g. js1))
• blogs are cool because unlike comments they stick around after you hit the comment limit, use them for messages you want to stick
• use > to quote stuff, remember to put a blank line between the quote and your comment!
• you can use urls to embed images n videos but it has to end in .png or whatever the file extension is
• use inspect element to change the colour of stuff, copy and paste that to start off with your css
• dont forget to fill in your bio n stuff, there's like 50 accounts that all say "I'm a noob. fwiends!" and i hate it i hate it i hate it i
• press settings in top right to turn on auto approve for comments or get a custom url
• if you think someone is cool, download their profile in case they get banned (rip slamadamadin)
• custom mp3s are always fun

with the loss of slamalamadin, i think it's important now than ever to archive your myspace profile!! even if its just yours and a friends, its better than none!! plus it uses like no space so theres no real disadvantage

i like the small community much more than spacehey, it feels like i know people a lot better
also it feels much less modern which for me is a perk: on spacehey you have a box just for bullatins (blogs that delete themselves after like a week) and i feel like that makes people use it more like twitter or something, whereas here i think it's more like a well-organised webring because of all the different css stuff people use, and it gives it a much more personal feel compared to seeing the same 2 layouts on spacehey over and over again... (although if upwader could code logins to not self-destruct sometimes that would be useful)

overall most of the people here are cool (plok sucks though) and i like it more than any other social media thing ive been on... much more cozy than even myspace93. 8/10, wouldn't reccomend because i like the small amount of people

the mario movie was actually decent! i enjoyed it and the story didn't rely too hard on the game plot to where you couldn't enjoy it.
my favourite part was probably either the commercial at the beginning (which is a little different to the one on youtube, it's longer and has bad greenscreen effects) or the scene with bowser's army. the ending wasn't great, but i enjoyed it and for the most part it wasn't really obnoxious and in your face. didn't like that blue luma(?) guy in the prison talking about how life was meaningless or whatever though.
overall, a 7/10: not the best film i've ever seen but better than shazam 2
