About a year and a half ago, Upwader made a proposal asking people if they wanted to see MySpace have a Groups function, despite myspace.windows93.net not having one.

The people said yes, but it never happened.

About a year ago, the Flash feature got killed due to a security issue.

That sucked, but:

THE OURSPACE UPDATE

We're bringing back Flash! and Groups are now available!

There's also been a whole ton of fixes and Quality of Life features added.

Due to security concerns, we've disabled flash player. I'm sorry.

Flash files will not be deleted, although, the ability for them to be uploaded has been.

You can go get your flash file by going to /u/(your id)/flash.swf

For example, for me, it'd be /u/1/flash.swf

If you want to embed something like a video on your profile, paste a "www.youtube.com" link wherever you want.

Also, there's a bug in the date calculation which for some reason causes it to parse dates incorrectly at times? I'm not quite sure why. I'll be fixing that very soon.
Another bug is with mobile browsers where dates show up as "NaN".

I'll post an update comment on this post when i fix both bugs.

and since change is awesome at times i wanna expand on this. So far, i've added

• SWFs for your page

• Greentext

• and (which only works if you put it at the top of your page)

I plan to add more things as time goes on.

Maybe i could do a small youtube tutorial like jankenpopp did
Ask me your CSS questions in this blog and i'll try to answer them or other users can answer them !!!
